Join us for a delightful dining experience! One of the highlights of Coffee Traders is definitely their all-day breakfast, praised for its generous portions and excellent value at around £14.50. The combination of crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and more makes it a must-try. The vibrant staff enhances the experience with their friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring everyone feels at home.
For dessert lovers, the café’s dessert selection is delightful, with each sweet treat crafted to perfection. Many patrons love the coffee too; the rich blends and carefully brewed cups elicit rave reviews. The space itself feels inviting and cozy, particularly the booths that offer a sense of privacy while still being in the lively café atmosphere.
One common critique of Coffee Traders is the potential for noise during peak hours. The café can become lively and busy, especially during lunch and brunch times, which may distract those seeking a quiet escape. It's a popular spot, which sometimes leads to a wait for seating, particularly on Saturdays. Some visitors also mention the occasional struggle with getting a faster service during busy periods, although the friendly staff works hard to manage the flow and keep everyone satisfied.
Additionally, not everyone appreciates the pet-friendly policy, as some diners may prefer a strictly dog-free area, especially if they have allergies. While staff are accommodating in this regard, the arrangement may not suit everyone.
Amazing food, friendly staff who are very kind and approachable and a nice atmosphere
Fab spot for a all day breakfast. Like the booth set up as feels more private than open plan. Really friendly staff. Good value. Does get bit busy and loud at times.. so not always the quietest place but good a business is busy. Definitely a go to for breakfast when in Truro.
I cant say enough about this lovely genuinely welcoming café, as soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome and when my partner asked asked if the establishment was dig free as she has a severe life threatening pet allergy she was told it wasn't but they would send anyone with dogs upstairs so she would be safe. This meant so much to us as much of cornwall seems to be dog friendly but not very people friendly and we had been unable to have meals in restraunts and cafes and when we had asked people either laughed as if we were joking or told us to sit outside and some were very rude. I just wish to thank all the staff at coffee traders for restoring our faith in humanity and being so caring understanding and friendly and not forgetting the food was so fresh and tasty.
I am not from here but walked into this cafe based on the positive reviews and absolutely enjoyed the food and service as wel as the atmosphere. Light, vibrant and busy with other people. Would recommend this place to others. Thank you!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant is a pleasant environment and great food. I had the all day breakfast. You can choose 2 from beans, tomatoes and mushrooms which made my life easy as I didn't have to ask if they could swap baked beans for anything like how I do in other places lol. For £14.50 you get 2 eggs, 2 sliced of toast, 2 sausages, tomato, mushroom, and 2 slides of bacon, you get 1 hot drink (tea/coffee) and also one juice (orange /apple) so yip, my holiday craving of "I must have a full English whilst on holiday" was definitely satisfied.
Exactly what we want from a cafe that's open and serving food beyond 3pm. Dog friendly, lovely staff and a great menu. The food was 10/10.
